How to watch

The fishing and marina dock south of the port of Algeciras, with its breakwater and the Saladillo promenade. Gulls, cormorants and terns at the entrance; watch from the seafront promenade.

The colonies of Isla Verde and the Isla de las Palomas are watched from a distance. Binoculars and telescope, no approach.
No drones over islands, breakwaters or docks: they scare the birds and are forbidden in the port domain without authorisation.
