Tell us what you saw
The atlas is built from observations. Record yours: which species, where, when and, if you have one, a photo. When the registry opens you will sign in with a code sent to your email, no password, and what you send will be reviewed before publication under the licence you choose.
Sending to the server will be switched on when the portal is deployed. Meanwhile the form works and keeps your sightings as drafts in this browser; you will be able to send them when the registry opens.
- 1
Observe
One species, one place, one date. If you are unsure of the species, say so in the notes: a stated doubt beats a confident wrong record.
- 2
Record
Pick the species from the catalogue or type its name, choose a site from the list or your position, and add a photo if you have one.
- 3
Send
Once the registry is open, a code sent to your email identifies you without a password. A reviewer validates the record and it joins the atlas database with your name and licence.
Your sightings
Stored only in this browser, with no account or server. Export the list to keep it.
You have not recorded any sightings yet.
Sign in without a password
When the registry opens, you will enter your email and receive a one-time code. No passwords to remember or to leak. Until then, drafts stay in your browser.
