Presence in the Strait
Common resident in steep craggy areas. More abundant and extensive during winter.
Identification
Easy to identify thanks to its greyish-brown colour, darker on wings and tail, paler on underparts. Short, non-forked tail with white spots near its end that are only visible in flight. The only one of the Hirundinidae present in winter.
