Common summer visitor to dry grassland areas.

Identification

Slim, similar to a juvenile Yellow Wagtail but with yellowish legs. Clean, whitish underparts and plain sandy upperparts. In flight, bold wingcovert bars and white outer tail feathers. Distinct pale supercilium and black lores. Juveniles have spotted brests and a streaked mantle.

Movements

Peaks in 1st hf. May and 2nd hf. September.
