Scarce migrant.

Identification

Males have greenish-grey head and yellow throat, moustachial stripe and eye ring; the rest of the body is orange-brown with dark-streaked upperparts. Females have paler colours, with brownish-grey head and finely-streaked breast and crown.

Movements

Prenuptial peaks in 2nd hf. April and postnuptial peaks in 2nd hf. September.
