Presence in the Strait
Accidental. Used to reproduce more abundantly than the Common Coot in La Janda, and especially at the Torero lagoon, from where they disappeared in 1935. The only recent records correspond to breeding to breeding at the reservoir of Barbate in 1995, and solitary bird in the Guadiaro estuary of the 08.15.04 and 15.09.12. Identification
