Accidental. One bird ringed at Gibraltar on 24.09.73.

Identification

Hardly distinguishable from a Reed Warbler, the wing-formula being determinate: 2nd primary same length as 5th, 6th or 7th, but in the case of a Reed Warbler, the 2nd equals 3rd or 4th. They breed in N Europe and Asia.
