Rare migrant. Formerly bred in the area, especially at Soto de Malabrigo (Las Lomas) and in some areas of La Janda; the last breeding record being in 1925.
Identification
Very difficult to distinguish from a Reed Warbler, but redder-brown and with longer undertail coverts, rusty-buff with pale tips. Moves actively through vegetation, often wagging tail.
